LAKE CHARLES LA. – The Louisiana Swashbucklers proudly announces the FirstMates cheerleading squad has been selected for the 2010 season. There will be 12 members and two alternates who are ready to cheer the Bucs to victory! 

Returning from last year’s squad are Micah Hunter, Erlinda Rodriguez, Kami Savoie and Eve Tauzin. New members are Mikalyn Brown, Julie Buller, Blair Chamberlain, Diana Duplechin, Ashley Johnson, Sydney Kitchens, Jade Lauw and Ashley Mangrum.

Cheerleading Director Natalie Tallman gives Swashbucklers fans a preview of what to expect. “This season, our fans can look forward to exciting halftime performances from the FirstMates with the latest hip-hop moves and live performances like they have never seen,” she said.

Tallman also has an announcement for the fans. “Be on the lookout for a southern style recipe book written by the FirstMates themselves which will feature photos and commentaries from the cheerleaders.”
