BUCS JANUARY PLAYER TRYOUTS ARE SET
LAKE CHARLES LA. – The start of the 2010 season for your Louisiana Swashbucklers is getting closer! The Bucs are looking for a few good men who want to win in the exciting sport of indoor football. The second session of player tryouts is set for Saturday, January 23rd, at McNeese State University’s Cowboy Stadium in Lake Charles. Registration will be held from 8:30 – 9 a.m. for a non-refundable fee of thirty-five dollars. Athletes are asked to bring their own shoes and athletic wear.
The Swashbucklers are the defending SIFL champions and will be under the leadership of first year head coach Shadrick McAfee. The tryout schedule is as follows: Skill positions (quarterback, running back, defensive backs and wide receiver) will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. After a short break tryouts for offensive linemen, defensive linemen and kickers will be from 10:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.
