SWASHBUCKLER OPEN TRYOUTS

The Louisiana Swashbucklers will hold open tryouts December 17, 2011. The Swashbucklers have played in 5 straight championship games and Coach Darnell Lee and his staff are ready to lead the Bucs to a sixth straight Championship Game.

Registration will begin at 8:00 AM and the tryout will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Participants should pre-register by clicking on the registration link below. The pre-registration fee is $40.00 and should be in the form of a credit card online, check or money order mailed to the Swashbucklers office at 900 Lakeshore Drive Suite B, Lake Charles, LA 70601.
Registration the day of the tryout will be $50.00 and will only be accepted in the form of cash, credit card or money order (no checks will be accepted). Participants should wear athletic shorts, tennis shoes or cleats for a field turf grass surface. No metal cleats will be permitted. Players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle, and the “L” drill. Following the testing, participants will do position specific drills and 1 on 1’s. The tryout is expected to last 3 hours.
